It's been 39 years since his death, but John Lennon's legacy lives on. He was not only a famous musician, known for his catchy one-liners and memorable tunes, but also an activist who advocated for widespread love and kindness. He was one of the first to bridge the gap between music and activism. For this, and for helping to create a better world, he will be forever remembered.

What Inspired Us |
Thanks to the efforts of the teachers who dedicated their time to passing their knowledge on to us, we have become photographers, animators, and filmmakers.
Aided by their constant support, we created animations, conducted interviews, assembled documentaries, and created music digitally. We are thankful that the program that we are in has a strong emphasis on communication and the arts. It was this experience that fueled our interest in music and the connections it has to American culture. This is why we created our documentary, which explores how John Lennon's music influences American society and culture. |
Our MissionWe created this documentary in the hopes of spreading awareness about the influence of music in culture and societies. As a form of art which transcends the limits of languages, music can convey ideas, meanings, and emotions in a way that words simply cannot. It can evoke feelings of sorrow, be used in times of joy or celebration, but mostly importantly, it can bring to light the issues that plague our society today in order to bring about a better world.
